Potential issues with Pop-Up blockers
Clicking the direct print Icon on a Report Pop-up, or on a Form, will open a new
browser window with only the content that is shown inside the Pop-up window. If
this is not the case, it is possible that your browsers pop-up blocker is preventing
the new page to be opened. A quick fix will be holding down the 'CTRL' key while
you click the Print button. But a better and more permanent fix will be to change
the setting for the Pop-up blocker and allow pop-ups for the EZ-MES address on which
you access EZ-MES.
Change Pop-Up blocker settings in IE7
Take the following steps in your browser to allow the pop-ups in the EZ-MES applications:
- Go to the 'Tools' menu in the upper right corner of your browser
- Select 'Internet Options'
- This will open a dialog, now select the 'Privacy' Tab
- Click the Settings button in the Pop-up Blocker section
- This will open the 'Pop-up Blocker settings' dialog
- Add the web address of the EZ-MES application (copy and paste the EZ-MES address
and press the 'Add' button)
- Close the 'Pop-up Blocker Settings' dialog
- Press the OK button in the 'Internet Options' dialog
