MES Software: States for Objects, Parts and Equipment
States
EZ-MES knows the following types of states:
- Object States
All
EZ-MES Objects have 'Object States'. In case an EZ-MES Object
has more than a single Object State, the Object State can be changed by pressing
the 'Next' or 'Previous' Buttons in the upper right corner of the Object Forms.
To change the Object State to Deleted, a delete button is used on the Object Forms.
- Part States
The state of
Part Record is determined by the
Flow Record. The state is defined on the Flow Definition
that is connected to the Flow Record. On this Flow Definition
you can define the state for when the
Flow Record is 'Active' and the change in state for when the Flow Record
is 'Done'. More...
- Part Process State
The Part process State can be CUEDED, INPROCESS, or DONE. It is determined by the
Flow Record and the way the
Step Definition is
configured.

Part Definition additional states can be defined. For these states the user
is free to use any name.
