This guide will explain all the different basic objects that are used within EZ-MES.

The following list uses the EazyWorks internal codes to list the EZ-MES Objects in Alphabetic order, according to our internal nomenclature:

• AC: Actions; Form
• DC: Revision Controlled Documents; Form
• EM: E-Mails
• EV: Events; Form
• EQ: Equipment Definitions; Form AKA: Equipment Types, Equipment Catergories, Equipment Classes
• EQR: Equipment Records; Form AKA: Equipment, Tools
• FD: Flow Definitions; Form AKA: Travelers
• FR: Flow Records; Form AKA: Flows, Production Order, Traveler, Shop Floor Traveler
• IO: Input-Output Combination AKA: Input Output Constraint
• LC: Location; Form
• LT: Lots AKA: Batches
• NV: Name-Value Pair AKA: Data Entry
• OR: Organizations
• PD: Part Definitions; Form

Execution Objects are the EZ-MES Objects that are needed for the day to day operations.

Configuration Objects

The configuration objects are used to define the EZ-MES system

• Part Definitions
• Step Definitions

  Step definition can have a number of other EZ-MES elements connected to it:

  • Input - Output Combinations
  • Name Value Pairs / Configurable Data Entries
  • Revision Controlled Documents
• Flow Definitions
• Equipment Definitions (similar to Part Definitions)
• Spec Definitions
