Create new Spec Definition
Before you create a new
Spec Definition it is probably a good idea to check if the Spec Definition
already exists by opening the
Spec Definition Listbox and use the
Filter options of the
Listbox. To create a new Spec Definition take the steps shown in
the following screen:
Steps to take, to Create a new Spec Definition:
- Make the Configuration Desktop
active
- Open the Spec Definition Listbox
- Click the New Spec Definition Icon in the upper left corner, this will open the
Spec Definition Form
- Fill out the information on the Spec Definition Dialog / Form.
- After completing the form, you can move the Spec Definition to the Active State
by pressing the 'Next' button
Now the Spec Definition is available to the rest of the system. You can start using
this Spec Definition to Define
Spec Checks for Data Entries after you have
specified Spec Values on the Part
Definition.
