EZ-MES Production Tracking: Roadmap
The New Features in the Pipeline
The EZ-MES Roadmap is based on White Paper 8 from MESA International.
The different features are grouped under the 8 different function that span the
entire plant operation.
Dispatching Production Units
For the Dispatching Production Units function
EazyWorks is working on the following Features:
- Automated Requested Items for low Inventory levels.
On the Part Definition Minimum Inventory Levels can be defined for the different
Inventory Types (RMI, FGI). EZ-MES will continuously check these levels to created
new requested items if needed. An requested Item can have a Traveler or a Purchased
Order connected to it.
- Buffer Management
Buffer Management is indirectly controlled by the set average cue times for steps
that could potentially act as a bottle neck. By increasing the Buffer time, more
work will accumalate at the step, reducing scheduling conflicts.
- Periodic Actions
Periodic Actions like inventory counts, particle counts, safety training can all
be scheduled using the requested items object in EZ-MES.
- SPC and Quality Inititated actions
SPC checks can be configured in a way that they initiate requested items based on out of Spec Values
